Craft Supplies

Craft supplies are often available at a much more affordable price than art supplies. Of course, this is not always the case. It primarily depends upon what type of craft or method of art for which the items are being purchased.

Some craft supplies may be geared toward working metal or wood. These options are much more expensive than those designed to satisfy elementary school needs, for instance. Of course, the quality and cost of supplies will vary just as much as the definitions people hold of what "craft" is.

Craft supplies of a lower quality may be of use to professional artists, of course. Some people really enjoy the challenge of creating skillful works with very limiting supplies. An added benefit is that a lot of cheaper materials can be purchased at once. This leaves room for a lot of experimentation, as well as for creating large scale pieces.
